I absolutely love to hear all about a couple’s vision for their very special day. Bringing this to life, and seeing the joy on their faces when they see their final designs, is just incredible.
WHAT IS THE MOST MEMORABLE WEDDING YOU HAVE EVER WORKED ON, & WHAT MADE IT SO SPECIAL?
We did the wedding florals for a destination wedding in Italy – how lucky are we!
Working alongside the couple, we crafted lots of their florals from luxury faux flowers here in the UK, examining pictures of the vineyard where they were having their wedding carefully to ensure everything would blend well.
We then used international mail to fly the rental faux items to the venue. On site in Italy, we built a couple of custom arrangements, including one in a fountain, and added fresh foliage from the vineyard to all the faux pieces when had imported.
This wedding was so very special as it was our first destination wedding, and through combining faux florals in the UK and fresh foliage from Italy, we managed to save the couple a significant amount of money on their wedding blooms when compared to the quote they had been originally given. We also got a little holiday after the wedding while in Italy, which is of course always a win!
IF YOU COULD BE A PART OF A CELEBRITY WEDDING, WHO WOULD IT BE & WHY?
It’s an oldie now, but such a goodie – George and Amal Clooney’s wedding in Venice. The florals were INCREDIBLE! Just Google some of the luxe door installations they had around the city and you will totally understand our obsession with this floral wedding masterclass!
WHAT UNUSUAL OR UNIQUE REQUESTS HAVE YOU RECEIVED FROM COUPLES, AND HOW DID YOU MAKE THEM HAPPEN?
We love unusual requests that challenge us. The more unusual the better!
We often get requests to include pets and have made collars and corsages for dogs, horses and even cats who have had an important part in their owners day.
WHICH WEDDING TREND ARE YOU ABSOLUTELY LOVING RIGHT NOW, & WHY DO YOU THINK IT IS SO POPULAR?
Honestly, we love working in a range of styles with different blooms – creating arrangements to meet a couples vision is the most important wedding trend of all!
If I had to choose, one wedding trend that’s still absolutely still stealing my heart is the embrace of wildflowers. We had them for our wedding so I am completely biased but I love the organic, natural, whimsical feel, and how full of character wild flowers are. They are also effortlessly romantic.
I think another reason wildflowers are continuing to trend is their sustainability. Many couples are choosing locally sourced blooms to reduce their environmental footprint, and wildflowers fit the bill perfectly. They’re low-impact, often native to the area, and can be found in abundance.

For me, it’s ensuring that we completely understand our couple’s before their special day.
We have a really unique and thorough process leading up to each and every wedding to ensure that we can really get to know a couple, and their requirements for their big day. This includes regular meetings, timelines and a mood boarding session.
We also carry extra of everything on the day so any last minute changes can be accommodated for.
