WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR JOB?

Being a wedding photographer is an absolute joy! I love being swept up in the excitement of planning a wedding, from the initial consultation to the final moments of the big day. The best part is witnessing the reactions when couples see their photos for the first time. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that I’ve captured their special day in a way that evokes such a strong emotional response.

Knowing that my photos will be treasured for years to come, allowing couples to relive their wedding day over and over, is an amazing feeling. I love playing a part in preserving those precious memories and keeping the magic of their special day alive.

WHAT IS THE MOST MEMORABLE WEDDING YOU HAVE EVER WORKED ON, & WHAT MADE IT SO SPECIAL?

That’s like asking me which my favourite child is!!

Can I go with two?

Richard and Jani’s Indian celebration, such vibrant colours, all the traditional elements of Indian culture rounded off by one of the best dancefloors I’ve ever seen!

Zoe and Tommy’s rustic celebrations in Tipis, combined with photos of them with a steam train, finished off with Zoe wearing an Elmo onesie.

If that wasn’t enough I then joined them briefly in Santorini for some post wedding photos.

IF YOU COULD BE A PART OF A CELEBRITY WEDDING, WHO WOULD IT BE & WHY?

Micky Flanagan – just to hear his speech!

WHAT UNUSUAL OR UNIQUE REQUESTS HAVE YOU RECEIVED FROM COUPLES, AND HOW DID YOU MAKE THEM HAPPEN?

I haven’t had any really unusual requests, apart from one bride who’d seen a gorgeous photo of a wedding couple reflected in a lake and wanted to recreate it at her wedding.
The only problem was that her venue didn’t have a lake!
I guess we could have used a puddle but it stayed dry on her big day.

Unique things I have photographed at weddings were an Elvis impersonator (he was just epic) and a game of cricket that included the bride and groom in their wedding outfits.

WHICH WEDDING TREND ARE YOU ABSOLUTELY LOVING RIGHT NOW, & WHY DO YOU THINK IT IS SO POPULAR?

Singing Waiters – just brilliant for really getting the party started!

QUICK FIRE ROUND WITH

FAVOURITE BISCUIT?   Biscoff

TOP TIP

Don’t get hung up on timelines – the only two that matter are the ceremony time and sitting down for the wedding breakfast. Just go with the flow, the day is over too quickly to worry about schedules!
