WHO AM I?
Hi, I’m Marie, an established Derbyshire based wedding photographer with over 14 years experience.
In that time I have finely tuned my photography voice, to speak honestly through a strong, natural and emotional style which showcases my flair in capturing the beauty and love at each and every wedding.
When it comes to capturing weddings I would describe myself as a Lifestyle Photographer .
My approach and style really authenticates the beauty of natural, unscripted moments whilst at the same time offering a professional guiding hand to ensure nothing important is missed. It’s such a great balance, especially for something as meaningful as a wedding day, where so much can unfold in real time.
By offering my support and gentle direction, I am able to create an atmosphere where those natural interactions shine without feeling or looking overly posed.
I addition to this my focus is also on those fine details. The little things—the dress, rings, flowers, invitations, and any personal items. These are what often hold the most emotional significance to my couples. Capturing these can really elevates the storytelling of a wedding portfolio.
In a nutshell, my approach is about capturing the essence of the day through both guided moments and the spontaneous beauty that naturally occurs and I hope that couples looking for an authentic experience will appreciate this balance.

WHAT MY CUSTOMERS SAY...
Marie has been amazing from start to finish. We had a pre-wedding shoot with her and she immediately put us at ease, we got some amazing shots and her professionalism is second to none. Marie and Dean photographed us on our wedding day and their expertise, friendliness, organisation and thoroughness were absolutely invaluable. Marie is a fantastic photographer – we are so happy we found Marie for our wedding photos. She was great from the start, she remained professional but relatable throughout which really put us at ease. All communication and pre wedding conversations were efficient and supportive. On the day she arrived on time, knew the schedule and knew all the important people, having been recommended on our wedding venues website (Cripps &Co), she really understood the whole vibe of the day. She went out of her way to help numerous times; she’s such a kind person and she goes above and beyond. We love all of our photos, we’re so happy with our precious keepsakes. The quality and attention to detail was second to none. We also had Dean supporting as a second photographer which was fantastic as we loved viewing photos from both the bride and groom whilst getting ready – recommend a second photographer. Also captured some second view points of some incredible photos and some gorgeous in action shots of all our guests. We love our couples sunset evening photos and although we were slightly nervous for these, both Marie and Dean continue to put us at ease and made it so much fun! We have loved reliving the day viewing the photos time and time again. The wedding albums are gorgeous, and were processed and delivered so quickly – it was extremely difficult to choose the photos as we wanted them all however Marie was once again fantastic at telling the story of our day through the albums.
