SO, WHO AM I?

My name is Sonia Chabane. I’m the Rock’N’Roll Baker. I make cakes, the likes of which you may never have seen before. If Damien Hirst baked cakes, perhaps this is how they might look. I design, make, and deliver each and every cake with my own hands.

I have worked as a professional illustrator, fulfilling briefs for a wide array of clientele. I also worked for 10 years in the catering industry, and what an eye opening experience that was. This has given me the motivation and skills to make eye-catching, one-off creations. It also allows me to deliver an amazing boutique experience, treating you as special as I treat my baked creations.

I’m genuinely passionate about cakes and that passion is the driving force for creating the Rock’N’Roll Baker. My mission, to create the most delicious, the most unique, great tasting and stylish cakes you could possibly wish for. All of my cakes are made completely from scratch and with only the highest quality ingredients. I take pride in making cakes that are known for their fantastic flavour, texture and their distinctive style. I want them to make you and your guests light up with joy and enhance your occasion as only one of my cakes can.

WHAT DO MY CUSTOMERS SAY?

We both would just like to say how incredible the cake was for our wedding! It was more than we ever could imagined! I know people say it, but it was literally the best cake we have EVER had!! Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the wedding cake - all 3 layers tasted absolutely delicious and we had so many compliments about it! All 3 layers were so moist and flavourful (when other wedding cakes are usually so dry and tasteless!). It also looked amazing with the pastel blue and loved the topper.
