SO, WHO AM I?

i’m lou and i bloody love weddings, but i’d like to think that’s pretty obvious. why? to be honest, it’s a bit of a rubbish answer but i just do! i’ve always been a storyteller and in my opinion, there is no better story to tell than that of your wedding day because the cliches are true: it is the best day of your life, and i would consider it the biggest privilege to be able to tell the story of yours. it'll just be me and my little camera capturing real moments, real emotion and real love.

a lot of my couples share with me ahead of their wedding days that they’re a little anxious about being in front of the camera & ‘can you make us look good as that wedding you filmed, please and thank you.’ and well, duh, that’s what you pay me for right? right. but for me to actually make you look your most relaxed and authentic selves, it’s massively important to me that you feel that my approach to capturing your wedding celebrations is right for you as your wedding photographer & videographer play a huge role in your wedding day experience and the memories you make.

I wasn't convinced we needed a videographer at our wedding at first. After meeting Lou a few times leading up to the wedding - and of course when eventually seeing the material Lou provided for us of our wedding day, I was utterly, utterly blown away. If you want a videographer for your wedding, book Lou. She so attentive and has such a lovely nature that you immediately feel at ease within minutes of speaking to her. This translates to the big day, where being nervous or self conscious about being on camera was just non existent thanks to Lou's approach, gentle and supportive nature. Not only this, but her editing and what she put together of our wedding day is second TO NONE and will honestly stay with us for the rest of our lives, brought out at whatever chance we get to show it off. You captured our day so so perfectly and it’ll be something we treasure every year of our (hopefully) happy marriage! Honestly, I can’t tell newly engaged couples enough how important it is to have a videographer. More than flowers. More than entertainment. More than anything. To me it is one of THE most important suppliers to book and you’ve just proved that and more in our video. To me, all the other things surrounding a wedding are forgotten - no one reeeeeally remembers what flowers you had on the table but having a videographer means you can remember your special day over and over - and see little snippets you didn’t even know happened. I know you must hear this every time you press send on a video but it’s so important for me to tell you how amazing you are at your job. Not only were we blown away by the video but everyone I show it to is. I know it’s easy to have self doubt in life, especially in work, but you really should wake up every day confident that you were made for this.
