SO, WHO AM I?

Hi! I’m Kirsty – fun and colourful wedding photography is my thing! I’m all for couples throwing their personalities over their wedding day like glitter bombs. The more unique and personal, the better! Screw generic chair covers and feeling obliged to follow tradition. This is about you and your love story, not fitting into a mould! You want to have an epic time with your favourite people, so I won’t have you standing for hours in awkward poses! (Nobody wants to come across like a Chandler Bing in their wedding photos!)

I’ll blend into your day with my camera, making a few jokes with your guests, chatting with nanna and probably doing some dad dancing all whilst capturing the candids, laughter and shenanigans as they happen. Whether you’re planning a city do or a woodland festival, I can’t wait to hear about your plans. I offer a range of coverage so there’s something for everyone.

I’m Nottingham based but will happily travel all over the UK because, after all, ‘adventure is out there!’ So, If you’re looking for someone who’ll put you at ease and deliver kick-ass wedding photography, let’s chat!

We could not be more thrilled with our choice of photographer for our wedding! From day one Kirsty was so excited to be a part of our day, and helped us to figure out a package that suited our exact needs. She kept us in the loop every step of the way- we had two zoom calls prior to the day so that everyone was on the same page and knew what to expect, which was great! So many of our guests told us after the day how lovely they thought the photographer was, and what amazing photos she had taken. Kirsty blends right in and made everyone so comfortable, which was so important for us! Neither of us wanted to be stuck doing awkward poses in front of a camera, and Kirsty is the perfect person to get the shots you'll love without any awkwardness. She captured the whole mood and essence of our entire wedding so perfectly, and the photos are really great quality. Leading up to the wedding Kirsty was always happy to talk through any anxieties about the day, or just hype up my shoes and dress! By the time the day came around it was just like having a friend join us, with a cool outfit and a camera! We are so glad to have had Kirsty capture our day and would recommend her every time!

What can I say about the gorgeous human being that is Ms Rockett? 🚀 Kirsty's energy is amazing. We knew from our first zoom that she was the one! Helpful, funny, sweet, kind..she sent out a wonderful little welcome package and was thoughtful enough to send vegan sweeties too 💜 (Oh and if you like talking about dogs, she's your girl 😂) Kirsty was always available for a chat, excited to hear our wedding plans and ideas for photos. Really great questionnaire to fill in prior to the big day so everyone is on the same page and knows the plan for the day. It was so comforting to know it was all organised so well and we didn't need to worry. We aren't the most comfortable couple in front of a camera, bit awkward 😂 Told Kirsty this right away and she put us at ease immediately explaining her candid style of photography would be perfect for us. And it really was! When our wedding came around, it was more like having another super fun friend with us all day rather than a photographer. Great conversation to put us at ease, she played with our dogs, worked alongside our videographers so professionally. Everyone loved her! When we weren't chatting away, I barely even noticed her doing her thing. Absolute ninja in the shadows which put me right at ease. Do not hesitate to book this wonderful person for your wedding day. She will tell your story beautifully and create memories to cherish and last a lifetime. Kirsty was the first photographer we saw at a wedding fair 9 months before our wedding. We spoke to her for ages and we instantly just clicked. We went around & looked at a few others, but we knew none of them were going to be a patch on Kirsty! As a plus size, colour-loving bride, I knew I had certain criteria (& a small number of hang ups) that meant not just any photographer would do to capture our special day. As soon as we saw the vibrancy, the fun & the pure life in Kirsty’s photos we knew she was perfect for us! When the day came, she lived up to & completely exceeded our expectations. She was supportive while letting us be creative, she was friendly, but was never conspicuous (we love a stealthy candid photo!) & when the pressure of the big day got slightly too much for my little anxious brain, she told me not to worry & got lots of shots of our guests having a fantastic time. She kept in communication in the weeks following the wedding, letting us know exactly when the photos were ready. When they came, we got to relive the day all over again in glorious technicolour.
