SO, WHO AM I?
Hi, I’m Fiona AKA Fiona Elizabeth Couture. A bridal wear designer and seamstress based in Derbyshire, and I'm here to help you feel confident, comfortable and the best version of yourself on your wedding day.
When it comes to my bespoke style, I take a more creative approach compared to the offerings of most mainstream bridal boutiques. I love incorporating hints of colour into my designs because I understand that not all brides envision themselves in a traditional white wedding dress. In fact, I wore a blue wedding dress myself! My designs often include 3D floral embellishments and hand dyed lace and I love a bit of sparkle. I would describe my style as; feminine, romantic and whimsical.
With over a decade of experience in altering wedding dresses, I know that even the smallest adjustments can make the world of difference. I undertake a wide range of bridal alterations, from simple strap lifts and hem alterations to complete redesigns and resizing. I can create bespoke additions for your dress such as; overskirts, straps, full sleeves, capes or veils and can even personalise these items with hand embroidery.
I also offer a bridal dressing service, where I come to your venue and dress you on your wedding day. This takes the pressure off your bridal party, so that you can have the lovely stress free preparations you deserve on your big day. I’m so excited to continue my mission, and help you feel amazing on your wedding day!

Fiona was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Contacted her via email and all communications were quick and so relaxing! I was super nervous as I wanted a very fitted dress and she saw my vision and altered my wedding dress perfectly! She is the most friendliest, loveliest person and made me feel amazing every step of the way. Last minute (2 days before) my 3 year old sons trousers came in and didn’t fit and she was able to fit me in and tailor them for him! Couldn’t believe how well the dress fit me and the amazing work she had done! Amazing woman, amazing skills! 100% would recommend!!!
