WHO AM I?
Hello, I’m Dave! A wedding photographer based in Nottingham. I specialise in creating authentic & joy-infused images and highlight films, capturing the full emotion of your wedding day in a non-intrusive way.
As a laid-back guy who isn’t keen on having their photo taken myself, I get that many couples are looking for someone who won’t intrude or make them pose awkwardly. My approach to wedding photography is to capture your day as it unfolds with minimal fuss. Couple portraits and group photos, should you want them, are always fun, relaxed and swiftly done so you can get back to enjoying the party!
My photography makes the most of natural light to bring you images full of just that. Think fresh, bright colours, photos that reflect the true look of your day.
I love being outdoors and getting into nature, so I’m perfect if you’re planning to incorporate the outdoors into your wedding. Whether it’s a big or small part of the day, I’m here for it!

“From the very first time we spoke to Dave, we knew we had chosen the right photographer to capture our special day. His relaxed, candid style was what drew us to him and suited our decision to capture the more natural moments of the day. We had been to weddings before, where the bride and groom were missing for large portions of the day posing for photographs, where as we wanted to spend as much time as possible enjoying our day with the people we love. We noted from Dave’s website that he quoted himself as a photography ninja, being able to sneak in and capture those blink and they’re gone moments. Both Dave and his wife Amy were able to mingle with our family and friends and blend in as if they were guests we have known for years. The pair worked tirelessly throughout the day capturing moments but were also able to capture some formal shots that we had requested previously. The photos we received were above expectations and were full of fun and moments we will treasure forever. They were all so beautiful and we have had so many compliments from our friends and family. To top it all off, the five minute highlight video was amazing. It captured far more than we were able to notice on the day. The video is beautifully edited together with audio of the speeches overlaying clips of all our loved ones. It is truly the icing on the cake, we are brought to tears every time we watch it.
