Hey! I’m Chris, a specialist Derbyshire Wedding Photographer, capturing natural, relaxed wedding stories.
I’ve been doing the job that I love for over 13 years now and after capturing more than 400 weddings all over the UK, I’m one of the most experienced photographers in the area.
My style has evolved into a relaxed style of modern story telling – no cheesy poses or gimmicks here! My creative style will capture the emotion of your day in beautiful, honest photographs. It’s not just about capturing how your day looks, but how it feels!
I’m super lucky to be based on the edge of the Peak District with a host of gorgeous venues close by. Whether you’re getting married locally or further afield, be it in a church, field, beach or other fun venue, I’d love to hear about your plans!

If you’re reading this review wondering whether Chris is the professional to shoot your wedding- do not hesitate, do it! We had the absolute pleasure of having Chris shoot our special day in June. We are both really visual people and somehow Chris managed to capture every single meaningful moment of the day, the photos are all beyond stunning. It has been impossible to choose which ones we want to share with people because they’re all perfect (there are over a thousand of them so that’s saying something!)
Your wedding day is so special and it honestly felt as though we spent our day with a brilliant, supportive friend. Chris was so unbelievably discreet snapping away throughout the day, the man is a magician. Chris- what can we say? Wow, what can I say…Chris is an amazing photographer! We got married in July and had rain for the majority of the day however, this didn’t stop Chris getting lots of stunning photos. From start to finish, Chris blended in with the guests to get natural shots which I love.
Chris was very well organised and communication was great.
We also had the photo booth from Chris which was worth every penny as it was full all night long!
I would 100% recommend Chris to everyone as we were blown away by our photos. Thank you so much for capturing our special day perfectly!
