WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I love photography and I’m a people person. To be able to use my craft to capture the best day of a couples life is amazing.
WHAT IS THE MOST MEMORABLE WEDDING YOU HAVE EVER WORKED ON, & WHAT MADE IT SO SPECIAL?
I’ve shot over 600 weddings, so to choose one would be criminal as they are all so special(sorry cop out)!! for me it’s the connection I have with my couples that makes a special wedding for me. Also the connections I see around me on weddings days, The relationships between couples, the connections with in families and friends.
Flavia and Dan’s wedding is a great example, I met them at a previous wedding where we got on like a house on fire and their wedding was so amazing and relaxed, we had such a laugh. They had previously had their offial wedding at a local registry office so they hired a wonderful celebrant to officiate their outdoor wedding Tractor barn in Guisbourough. Walking through their confetti photo with their little terrier Taxi! The whole day was just chilled and fun and I was working along side one of my fav second photographers, Nina Mistry, which made it all the more awesome.
IF YOU COULD BE A PART OF A CELEBRITY WEDDING, WHO WOULD IT BE & WHY?
I’d love to shoot a comedians wedding like Greg Davies or a comic actor like Jim Carey! it would just be hilarious from start to finish. Also Jennifer Lawrence seems down to earth and funny or Phoebe Waller-Bridge with her super quick wit and humour.
WHICH WEDDING TREND ARE YOU ABSOLUTELY LOVING RIGHT NOW, & WHY DO YOU THINK IT IS SO POPULAR?
I’m loving that couples just create their own day for them and their guests these days. I guess it’s not really a trend but are more flexible now and I’m here for it!

TOP TIP
For me it’s about building a good relationship with my couples and having a flexible time lines . Communicating expectations is key.
Also when it comes to the group shots, print out the group list, then employ one of the guests or bridal party to help get the next group ready.
This makes the process move along more smoothly and bride and groom don’t lose the will to live.
